Excellent location for theatres/shows - can walk to some very easily and others are only a tube ride away. Tube less than 5 minutes walk. Also can easily walk to Soho and China Town and enjoy really good restaurants/bars. Food in hotel is very good - both dinner and the continental breakfast. Did not feel the need to ask for a full "English" Very helpful and friendly staff.

Top Tip:
The Jack Horner bar on the corner before you reach the Hotel is welcoming and friendly - some good ale as well! British Museum just round the corner, Oxford St minutes away as is Regent St, Bond St etc. Get Tube to Oxford St and you can go anywhere basically. Found the staff in the tube stations to be very helpful and gave good advice. We bought Oyster cards because we will be back!! Very handy to use - just a pity that Edinburgh is still back in the dark ages when it comes to Public Transport!!
